Jeff Gross - CEO/Founder
He was a former professional baseball scout with the Texas Rangers (1988-93) and Chicago Cubs (1993-95). Now, his scouting player information forms go to all 30 major league clubs from the top prospects that attend PRO-DAY Baseball.
A former Part-Owner/President of the Pine Bluff Locomotives, a Class A Independent team in the Big South League of Professional Baseball. His club won the first-half division championship while he helped several players get back to major league affiliations. He coached college baseball three years each at the University of Arkansas-Monticello and Pensacola Junior College where both colleges had the most successful three year runs in their baseball history.
A former first-baseman, who played semi-professional baseball with the Braves in Pine Bluff (AR) who attended Harding University on a baseball scholarship. Jeff played on five state championship clubs on the amateur level and coached two teams to a state championship, including a fourth place National finish. His high school team (Pine Bluff High) was ranked ninth and seventh nationally by the USA Today while capturing back-to-back high school titles in 1983-84 with a 38-4 overall record.
Bill Earnhart - National Scouting Director
Earnhart plays a key role at the events during the year along with the "North/South/East/West" and "Best of the Best" National Showcases. He grades players on arm strength, accuracy, hands, footwork, to go along with hitting and pitching.
Over the years, Bill has worked as a scout for the Major League Scouting Bureau, Kansas City Royals, Montreal Expos, Los Angeles Dodgers, California Angels, San Diego Padres, Texas Rangers and currently is with the 2001 World Champion Arizona Diamondbacks.
He is also a member of the PRO-DAY Baseball and Southeastern Professional Scouts Hall-of-Fame and has been a past nominee for the National Scout of the Year Award.
